Meals That Heal is a book written by TV host and nutritionist Julie Daniluk and reveals just how much pain is caused by inflammation and shows how to relieve it through diet. Featuring a practical nutrition guide, menu plan and 130 easy and delicious recipes, Meals That Heal Inflammation makes healthful eating a true pleasure.

After perusing this book, I think it will benefit someone with IBS, chronic fatigue and multiple food sensitivities (no dairy, yeast, gluten, soy, red meat, pork ,egg white, etc.) I don’t suffer from any of these so I went straight to the recipes. They look simple enough to make, but the ingredients are not easy to find, either because your average supermarket don’t carry the product -a health food store would be best- or they are seasonal eg: pomegranate. Since this book was not target it for me I found it very complicated. It think someone in with any of the illness mention above would benefit greatly as long as they earmark the recipes they like and find the ingredients.

Nutritionist Julie Daniluk created the definitive guide to understanding inflammation and its link to chronic disease, and showed readers how to cook their way to health. With Slimming Meals That Heal, Daniluk highlights the all-important relationship between inflammation, allergies and weight gain–and brings us 125 new healthy and delicious recipes.

A very informative book that I enjoy more than “Meals That Heal”. However, the book have great pictures that would make your mouth water and make you want to make them right away until you read the list of ingredients and realize you don’t have it handy nor does your grocery store have them. So of the meals are quick, but other not so much. My favorite part was the liquid healing. I have most of the ingredients and these shakes, smoothies etc. were very tasty. The “Healing salad in a jar is one I have ear mark to make soon and the “Low-Carb Vanilla Coconut Cookies” are awesome.

The Books were provided by Julie Daniluk in order to facilitate my review, I was not compensated . This review is Desafio In The City honest opinion about this product.
