We received this hub just in time. My husband old hub die and we were in need of a new one right away. It is very useful since it allows you to expand the USB port on your computer/laptop. My husband laptop only came with 4 USB ports and now he has seven which is great. He can charge his phone, camera and plug in his wireless mouse and keyboard dongle and have free USB ports to connect other electronic devices as need it. It is not as compact, but it is not bulky and sits well on the desktop. My hub is always hanging on the side of my desk. Since the hub have a 3.0 super speed ports the data transfer is faster than the 2.0, also the devices charge faster. We are very pleased with this hub and it is highly recommended.
