I usually use my stand mixer to mash potatoes to make them creamy and without lumps. However, sometimes I don’t want to deal with the peeling and clean of the stand and using the regular potato masher doesn’t give me the same results. The Bellemain Stainless Steel Potato ricer allows me to avoid all the prep work and still get my smooth and fluffy mashed potatoes and not so much clean up afterwards. I am very impressed with the result and the versatility of the sleek design. I use it to mash other vegetables and root vegetables, like cauliflower, sweet potato etc. and the best part is that for some I didn’t even have to peel them. It was so creamy and delicious without all the prep work. I like the fact that you can rest the non slip hanging knob on the bowl and mash right into the bowl instead of in mid air. It is a great product.
