Merry Christmas

Last night we went to my coworkers house to have dinner, since my family went to the Dominican Republic for the holidays. Since my husband has two jobs now it was going to be a sad Christmas day, because it was going to be only Jonah and me on Christmas morning.

At two in the morning my husband woke me up to wish me a Merry Christmas before going to work or so I though. He actually woke me up to tell me that he has taken the day off on his morning Job. He had me fool all this time. I woke up and wrap his present and put it under the tree, talk about leaving everything for the last minute

We dress up Jonah on his Christmas PJ’s and he woke up at 9am to open his presents.

My plans for the day change drastically. Jonah open all his present today, yes my husband insisted since we won’t be seen each other until Wednesday. I oblige and I will be celebrating the 12 days of Christmas in another way.

We have brunch at our local diner since neither one of us wanted to cook. I spend the afternoon crocheting away his afghan and he playing and napping.

January 6, we will get together at my mom’s house and we will give the rest of the present there. I will present my grandmother with her afghan. It has been sitting for weeks since I ran out of yarn. I am going to go with another brand and finish it up.

It has been a wonderful Christmas. Wishing all of you Peace in the upcoming year.
